Random Poem:

ode to sun baked worms on a summer sidewalk
unknown

i am dreaming of a boat made from the doors
 1
of a house we once lived in
 2

we are drifting across the sound
 3
through a thick morning fog
 4
sitting at opposite ends of the boat
 5

i can only make out your silhouette
 6

i imagine this to be what it was like
 7
just before sunlight hit the valley
 8
before the sounding of the bugle
 9
and the first volley kissed
 10
our forefather's flesh
 11

my shadow will touch your shadow
 12
before touching the surface of the water
 13

something moves beneath the boat
 14
something moves within our heart
 15

some thing is knocking at the door
 16
