Industrial music? It is pretty raw and kind of edible. I like the genre with some heavy riffs, like MDFMK which is an experimental version of KMFDM. Never the less, that's a lot more modern given the timeline.

Can is good. My friend from Davy Crocket and The Wild Frontiers was the vocalist I went to school with-- he showed me their record while we were chilling together.

Yep.. industrial, of the actual industrial kind. Many bands formed around and after SPK's time, taking them as a core motivation.

SPK formed in 1978 and pretty much wound up in '87 - '88, but some releases were made right up to 2007 - which was a video release.

Can, again, were seminal. They set the pace. Others followed.

Yeh, they're not bad, but don't achieve the epic Teutonic dark phrasing of Laibach.

This is that band, "Davy Crockett and the Wild Frontiers," by the way; they're from this town.

Guantanimo is definitely punk-esque hard rock, but they even throw some great honky-blues sounds into songs that makes it sound slurred drunk and amusing, like what you'll never hear, "Pablo Picasso was Never an Asshole."

Davis Fontcuberta sings it, and Max McClintock plays lead. They were each a year beyond my high school graduation at the very same school.
