not worded right. i mean that art is about inventing art, and the national endowments are for something else.

any attack on the arts is a loss.
it reinforces the anti-creative, anti-intellectual pursuit of creativity.

I don't think an attack on the first national Bank of art harms art. we feed on adversity,  and the art industry feeds off social climbing upper middle class. the museums were founded by the rich as monuments to themselves. but, museums keep our work ssfe, so they're helpful; the art market ignores the national endowment for the arts. if trump shuts down art supplies stores, that would be something, but we'd go back to making our own materials.  

the anti-art people arn't creative  -- they're not a problem. look at hitler's anti-decadence moves.... that just fed the schlock market but didn't kill the modernism. don't be petty bourgeois about this. think for yourself.
