A Poem to Pass the T:ME
starwars

I threw my watch into a river
 1
hoping that something beautiful would come from pain
 2
Ha!
 3
what a sorry wretch
 4

you kissed it in the rain
 5

it was waterproof
 6
I wonder if it still ticks

Mmm... I really like this. I don't know why. The 'time' in the title is clever (reminds me of Bright Eyes' "A Song To Pass The Time") and nice use of exclamation in line 3. Overall, a gentle and pleasing read.
