the arrogance of ignorance is the SUMMUM BONUM where wounded reason is the lurking horror and the innermost secret of that fear is doubt -- the new religion of reason is conspiracy where glimpses into the fundamental nothingness of all and everything is a scary realEYESation: "Nothing and Possibility of 'All that Is' come in and out of bond infinite times in a finite moment." The Death of Reason is the beginning of the Infinite
 — AphroDite

thank you so much, AlchemiA aka AphroDite.

reason is an essential human faculty which will
have to be abandoned in time to facilitate further
evolution of and the return to Being.

Ayn Rand would say otherwise but i like her, too.

thanks for the fave; you got the piece down to a tee again.

obedience without reason leads to the death of spontaneity and originality, a narrow view, doubtful values, extremism, ignorance..
i like the flag symbol there.
good work again
 — nisetru

thank you so much, nisetru.

it's like learning to think right and then
learning to discard thinking altogether.

are you referring to catholic fanatics?
 — unknown

I can only hope for freedom to live my life only once so I will be forced to do things right all at once.

1st unknown:

not really. this should have a general-public appeal although
it pictures monks in particular. it's like tearing the zendo down
after all the dust and everything else have been removed from it.
or if the situation presents a huge problem and gets the mind
really confused, one has to denounce the thought and be

too much zen even for me to handle.

2nd unknown:

well, if the church were only successful in making people
believe this is the only life and chance we got; they're doing
a lousy job as yo already know. they poison people's thinking
and that's the kind of "death of reason" that's really scary.

but really, we all should live our lives as if it were the last
day we got.

i myself am working on it real hard but just can't help being
a shitty bastard.
