| Break dancing

| Break and dancing | 1 |
to the rhythm of palpitations; | 2 |
the beat booms legs into | 3 |
shaky jacksons as hyperflated | 4 |
thighs wave and ripple | 5 |
and cold sweat feels wrong | 6 |
as shaky hands tremble | 7 |
towards the self imposed | 8 |
receding hairline. | 9 |
| |
Spinal vertebrae; | 10 |
bones and musty yellow | 11 |
matter, an extension of | 12 |
brain matter over knees, | 13 |
thoughts fly by before | 14 |
I can remember them, | 15 |
Then I hear it again; | 16 |
war drums, | 17 |
the night getting younger | 18 |
every day, | 19 |
And so I end up sleeping | 20 |
plus 5 and wake up tired , | 21 |
starting life three hours | 22 |
too late. | 23 |

so
everything in this poem
is like break dancing?
since i'm unable to see the overall meaning of this
i can't really give any critique
only until i'm enlightened. — 1994
Break dancing in this particular poem refers to the fact that people are usually faced with constant stresses and if they do eventually break in one way or the other, the overwhelming anxiety changes the way they act and move, more rigid, less spontaneous, more cautious and its as if they've been reduced to drones carrying out repetitive moves, unable to change because their minds are overloaded with anxiety. — almasree
aha!
i see now.
and now it's very very good ;)
i have nothing for you, sorry!
i like it just as it is. — 1994
