| Twelve hour Rats +
|
Caducus
| Throat slit red | 1 |
in brake light trance, | 2 |
my twelve hour changeling | 3 |
appears in wing mirror sunrise | 4 |
by birds in tarmac trees. | 5 |
| |
Traffic light duel | 6 |
Audi Versus Saab | 7 |
amber green smog | 8 |
I scurry then crawl | 9 |
to a third exit grave, | 10 |
parking by failures | 11 |
in Hyundai badges | 12 |
yellow star cars. | 13 |
| |
Eleven hours crawl | 14 |
Rats scurry to one room | 15 |
gnawing at each other | 16 |
then grouping on one | 17 |
to a slow one month death. | 18 |
Rob is now Robert, | 19 |
Rat is now mouse. | 20 |
At twenty past nine | 21 |
by mute tarmac trees | 22 |
my rat sleeps in its Saab tomb | 23 |
till it wakes on my forehead | 24 |
crawling in to my mouth. | 25 |
