Missing Pages
trochee

Lost in the northern winds
 1
that steadily careen over
 2
known and sometimes foreign pastures
 3
in search of regarding shores
 4
and darkness of eyes that would lower its gaze
 5
and caress through words
 6
to hear me
 7
to listen silences within me
 8
in spaces and lines
 9
that i'd present about my pasts.
 10

Make my pain your story,
 11
your unheard voices mine.
 12
Write like i do
 13
tear them and say that you miss
 14
your missing page's texture,
 15
the touch of its possession,
 16
end it with this lie
 17
and let the southern winds carry them
 18
to someone careening over
 19
known and foreign pastures
 20
in search of regardless shores.

Make my pain your story... with this bedtime poetry... watch the axe fall now, in these shallow shores, of monkey tails and gold fish bowls, with sails that blossom orange, a little boat that tries to sail, in search of regardless shores, lets let the southern winds carry them, to someone careening over... enjoyed this , thanks for your work... j.g.smiles

trochee you and larry have the same cover to your book!  i didn't know there were duplicates.

the word careen is used frequently by a certain NHL commentator and so reading this i can see the puck careening across the boards.  i'm totally ruined by it.

a few lines here confused me but i think you are intending on their oddity; L8, 19?  i like how you come back to the foreign pastures and shores.  i especially like line 4!

great flow.

line seventeen is particularly captivating. couldn't change a word anywhere here.
 — listen

I agree with listen, this is a captivating write. I also am partial to endings that bring you back to beginings. Thanks for this, poet.
