The Army.... well from what I can remember we "Marines" would go into an area in Nam with attacks, secure the area from the enemy, turn it over to the slackers oh I mean Army, they would lose the ground again, we would have to bail em out, the circle would go on till we just gave up the ground, they got all our rats, piss tubes, brass, c-rats we did not care for, Ham, mother-fuckers

Hey goeszon everything about the military isn't about the Marines or Vietnam there were other branches besides the Marines believe it or not.

Hey! That is so cool! Is it original? I'd love to use it
 — Redlander

great poem. this one makes me smile too much.

i was wondering if maybe you wouldn't mind deleting the period from line eighteen and removing the capitalization from dismissed. makes it read like the way i imagine a sergeant personality would speak, making their sentences all one word. which, is a compliment to such personalities.

the only problem, is it could lose the polish it has now.
 — listen

reminds me a little of "Full Metal Jacket"
"1, 2, 3, 4, I love the Marine Corps..."
sorry I missed this one...
very cool
