Superman paroles
section4

I came wanting new adventures,
 1
Embrace the everlasting haziness,
 2
My hand is your hand,
 3
Our hearts are one today ,
 4
But why is there is no spoon?
 5
Matrix flashbacks in an empty room..
 6

There was a time when tall
 7
buildings seemed leapable,
 8
And the incredible odds of
 9
laser beams erupting
 10
through my protected eyes
 11
seemed real enough to
 12
impress you,
 13
Yet you chose to wear
 14
sunglasses in the dark.
 15

The bully forgiven;
 16
Invulnerability goes hand
 17
in hand with not feeling pain,
 18
And killing a technicality
 19
keeping me away from you;
 20
Twenty minutes into my
 21
incarceration I'm bored.
 22

I've been spending more
 23
time here lately,
 24
Cruising the skies
 25
looking for company
 26
amongst the celestial
 27
super zeroes,
 28
Feeling the rush of cold air
 29
on my sixties haircut,
 30
I'm glad there's no
 31
one here-
 32
an original to the end.
 33

But if I'm a God....
 34

Why hasn't anyone
 35
kneeled before me
 36
or asked for my help?
 37
And should I get paid
 38
for saving my world
 39
or should owning yours suffice?
