In October

It's this pain
Awakens the numbness
It's this silence
Rouses the innermost
In vain so it flows
In thine heart so it's kept
Thus awaits when in sadness
Triggers when it rains in summer
Here comes another storm in September
Goes as if never to return
Just like holding on for too long
Eventually to free a soul.
