Just let it settle like a cobweb caught in mid-drift

her large hazel eyes that bounced through my skull
i always wanted to caress her static hair
as though my hands were rivers
to wash her into sleep
but she is gone
and I have disappeared into my seaweed mind
tangled with  memory, thought, and unconsciousness
cradle me with her rememberence like a fog over my crusty eyes
let me sip the brook that lets this rattle, this infatuation die
like time has in my breath
