line 2. 'but'. butt.

This is cute. I wouldn't put it up there with your best, as you've got your tongue jammed firmly in your cheek here. Did give me a smile.

the but serves as both but/t's.
the "down dog" is both a command
and a yoga position which makes your butt stick out.
the speaker is equating flexibility to equanimity.
and, it's 5/7/5.

Wow, this little piece has been lurking and peeking out every now and then for four years?  What a gem.  I prefer full briefs, but I guess yoga has its constraints.

This is just wonderful.  I think there are "official" haikus standards which this won't hold up to, thematically, but who cares?  This is a tremendous capture of a remedy for many psychoses, many of which I have myself.  Yikes!  Anyway, this is superb writing.  [Thanks to f/core too for finding this piece ... and your comment is hilarious!]  I have to give this a 10.
