Yesterday Truth was Red
sybarite

red firetruck
 1
police cruisers
 2
ambulance
 3
crimson lights
 4
strobing urgency
 5
sirens keening
 6
jaws of life
 7
might
 8
stay hungry
 9

end of the road
 10
in a deep gully
 11
between rubberneckers
 12
and heroes
 13
shards of red
 14
pierce my eyes
 15
my brother left
 16
 17
in his cherry Firebird
 18

stop
 19

everything stopped
 20
I left my car
 21
on legs
 22
that didn't want to know
 23

drowning in
 24
the blood noise
 25
of panic
 26
surfacing on
 27
'female driver'
 28

in twisted wreckage
 29
deliverance and ignominy
 30
extracted my brother
 31
and left someone's sister
 32
in his place

Bad! Bad Troll!  3 minute time-out under the bridge!

you've got the gist, sybrastic, some good imagery mainly in the end of the poem where it all comes together.

see, i'm overdosing in red, red, crimson, cherry blood
and i'm listing-out with EMS vehicles.
