Rest easy
we've got a ways to go
Trees fade into fog on either side
of this shadow of a road
Through the darkened wood
a man walks alone
presence betrayed
by lantern's glow
Do not stir I'll pull the blanket
over your little head
Dawn approaches
We need all the rest we can get
Miles to go before we wake up

if Miles Davis is breaking up your relationship with this girl, then get him to leave ( he's an f'n poet, always trying to make a song out of a normal sex conversation.)
