A Room Of Misery

In moments of despair,
And regret
I seek a safer spot
A spot that is lonely,
And yet it’s not the quiet that I look for
It’s noise that titillates me
And sucks me into it
And I’m waiting to be taken,
To be dissolved
To be shaken
Out of this place
It’s dark and I feel scared
I cry without tears
and I don’t know
if there’s a way
that could give me peace
I shut myself down again
I don’t know what that place looks like
A room full of
My regrets,
My misery.
