Art Hung without Nails
unknown

As a child, he stayed
 1
within the lines
 2
when required.
 3

At 13, seduced by an older woman,
 4
he found his real talent,
 5
practicing until it was perfected.
 6

Unable to be hung and admired,
 7
(though he is),
 8
no money changes hands
 9
when he creates his masterpieces.
 10

On sheets of high thread-count cotton,
 11
he finds the tan lines,
 12
painting with his mouth and hands,
 13
invisible art that makes the walls
 14

jealous.
