Cities never last

The wise boy seeks Troy.
He dreams of Helen with blonde hair,
but that was a life time ago.
How passion wanes
when cities burn
Oh to be forlong.

'cities'. what you're saying, 'city's' is that "city" owns a 'never last', which is maybe bargain boxing shorts.
