Pleasantries
neverthehero

Tungsten fires up, lights the morrow
 1
Only sweat in his brow
 2
Tongue tied, finding he's awake alone
 3
Will he remember how?
 4

All those memories
 5
Never seem to escape
 6
And only pleasantries
 7
Tend to keep him away
 8

A bore withstood an apocalypse
 9
Without a drop of blood
 10
The young man offered up his dissonance
 11
And thus began his song
 12

So why those memories
 13
Never seem to fade
 14
And only pleasantries
 15
Tend to keep him at bay
