The Ruin of Idology

The dog walked Tom Cruise
with a similar disinterested obstinancy
as the surrealism of Banksy's graffiti
on the grimy walls of London.
He felt a familiar pang,
passing an empty house
as a phone rang
& rang,
& wondered where the moths go
once the light around which they whirled
is extinguished.
