Life Passing

There was  sudden tension then hush.
Breath stilled.
The rooms clouded memorabilia,
sealed with trusted trinkets
had gathered round a life fullfilled
For one moment everything froze;
absolute quiet.
The door opened,
air from a corridor swirled through.
Unforgiving time woke up,
carried on apace as it flew.
