Sometimes i spot it outside.
Smooth, shiny, round as a full moon.
Often wobbly, as if agitated inside,
Changing shape within the confines of its skin.
No one flinches as it passes them by,
missing by an inch.
Near the end of each day it rests with others.
Sleeping like brothers, gently brushing
the "No Entry" sign at the top of the street.
Tomorrow, will i be up in time, on pins,
wondering it it'll float back down again.
